Bridging the Gap Between People and Technology

Computer Buddies is new company that offers classes and one-on-one consulting to people who want to learn more about technology and the Internet.

Nashville, TN, October 04, 2007 --(PR.com)-- More than 62 percent of all American homes have a personal computer, according to statistics released from the Census Bureau. But many people do not know how to use all the programs available.

Ankit Patel wants to reach some of those who are struggling to learn how to use their computer. He launched Computer Buddies to help people who feel that technology has left them behind.

“As an industrial engineer, I realize there is a large gap between the technology and internet tools that are available and what many people actually know about those tools,” Patel said. “This gap is large but the gap is not so large that it cannot be bridged.”

Computer Buddies offers classes in a wide range of technology and online programs, including Google searching, Google Calendar, social networking, and more, how to build an online community, organize your life using the internet and staying connected through the web. Computer Buddies also offers personal one on one coaching where Patel creates personalized programs to help clients reach their goals.

“Our vision is to teach everyone who wants to learn how to make their lives easier and better by using the Internet and technology,” Patel said. “We don’t sell videos but we give personal one on one service to our clients. We also offer online classes that everyone can work into their schedule as well as personal coaching.”

A graduate of Georgia Tech with a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Patel graduated from high school in Dickson, Tenn. He has more than ten years of experience with computers and technology.
