The Cleveland Browns Bring the Dawg Pound to Columbus

Kevin Griffin, VP of Marketing & Fan Experience and Past OSU Football Player, Carries His Unique Perspective on Professional Sports Marketing Home to Columbus.

Columbus, OH, March 19, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Columbus American Marketing Association (CAMA), the premier networking and marketing organization in central Ohio for marketing and communications professionals, today announced it will bring Kevin Griffin, vice president of marketing and fan experience for The Cleveland Browns, back home to Columbus for an insider’s look at the strategy keeping that loyal Brownies’ experience a steady highlight of Cleveland and Ohio sports. Griffin is set as the featured speaker for the group’s March luncheon on the 25th at Franklin University.

Griffin, who played football at Ohio State from 1995-98 and a Columbus native, came to the Browns after working as director of fan development for the Seattle Seahawks and the Seattle Sounders soccer team in the MLS.

He’s the nephew of two-time Heisman Trophy winner Archie Griffin. Kevin, a Columbus native who grew up in Seattle, earned a journalism degree from OSU. He earned a master’s degree in athletic administration from Ohio University and was assistant executive director for the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association from 2000-04.
