Travel Writer and Author Michael Cervin to Speak at San Diego Travel & Adventure Show

Travel writer, Michael Cervin is scheduled to speak at the San Diego Travel and Adventure Show on Sunday, March 30th for what is expected to be a packed crowd. His last talk at the Los Angeles Travel & Adventure Show, “Worth the Drive: California Destinations Within Reach” focused on what Cervin called “one-tank wonders” – easy vacation drives, easy on the budget and had a crowd of over 300 people.

Santa Barbara, CA, March 25, 2014 --(PR.com)-- His PowerPoint presentation for San Diego “Iconic California Drives: Itineraries with Intrigue” will cover parts of Los Angeles, the back roads of Santa Barbara, and Big Sur to Napa, revealing unknown wonders, hidden, gems, and unusual sites most travelers never experience. Using his original collection of his own photography and infused with humor and valuable information, Cervin details the best of the Golden State. “Often when we plan trips, especially the well-known drive routes, we neglect the unusual for the average,” Cervin says. “My goal is to take people on the odd-ball paths I have traveled, something they can do as well.” His talk is scheduled for 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, March 30th at the San Diego Convention Center.

Michael Cervin is the contributing travel writer for the Santa Barbara News-Press, and author of four Moon guidebooks including California Road Trip, and California Wine Country. He writes for Forbes Travel, The Hollywood Reporter, Westways, Gayot.com, SkyWest and many other print and on-line publications.
