Mizner Country Club Paints the Town for Charity

Mizner Country Club Adopts Two Classrooms in Delray Beach

Delray Beach, FL, March 28, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Mizner Country Club’s Women’s Association members and guests again showed their philanthropic spirit at the Annual Ladies Charity Card Party this past month. This year’s event, “Let’s Paint the Town” featured a playful and joyous artistic theme featuring the work of children from local foundation, The Achievement Centers for Children & Families in Delray Beach.

The charity event had over 200 attendees who participated in a day of card play and savory delights prepared by Executive Chef Sean Key at Mizner Country Club and his culinary team.

“We were very fortunate this year to be selected as the beneficiary for the Card Party. The kindness and generosity shown by the Mizner Country Club’s Women’s Association, the community residents and the Club’s staff was very special and will make a significant impact on the children served at the Achievement Centers,” said Abigail Goodwin, Executive Director of Achievement Centers for Children & Families Foundation in Delray Beach.

“Along with a donation from Mizner Country Club’s Women’s Association, two classrooms (one preschool room and one toddler room) have been adopted by the Mizner community which enables teachers to have flexibility to purchase learning materials and supplies, conduct field trips and to celebrate children’s accomplishments,” added Goodwin.
