Chennai, India, April 03, 2014 --( Scope e-Knowledge Center, a leading provider of content enhancement and knowledge services, will be offering a seminar entitled “Content Discoverability – Emerging Trends & Challenges in Technology Adoption” on April 10, 2014 from 12.00 – 12.20 PM at Tech Theatre, EC2, at the upcoming London Book Fair. Deborah Harman, Associate Vice President, Business Development, UK & Europe, will explore the challenges in technology adoption and the need for subject matter expert human intervention to create accurate and consistent descriptive metadata for reliable and relevant semantic enrichment for enhanced knowledge discovery.

Scope's presentation will explore the different types of metadata to enhance content discoverability in an e-publishing environment, which will in turn drive improved content usage by end-users. The seminar will shed light on the challenges associated with automated solutions for content discoverability and the need for human intelligence to comprehend and interpret the complexities of content and data beyond machine understanding.

Tram Venkatraman, President of Scope, commented, “With assisted-automation solutions being our forte, Scope has explored the limitations of automated semantic enrichment solutions. A comparative study by our internal analysts has validated the significance of descriptive metadata, curated by subject matter experts, in enhancing discoverability, search precision and improved end-user experience. The seminar will explore our findings in detail.”

During the London Book Fair, Scope will demonstrate its content enrichment capabilities for publishers and other information providers. Attendees are invited to visit the Scope stand (Stand # Y615) in Earl Court 2 to discover more about the services offered by the company.
