Euille, Mayor of the City of Alexandria. Guests of the Kickoff will also have the opportunity to enjoy Sabana Foods empanadas and other traditional Latin delights.

The Casa Hispana de Virginia was founded to help the underserved Hispanic community in the state of Virginia and its surrounding areas through the creation of a more favorable economic, social, and political climate. To achieve this, the organization provides education, training, and health and personal development programs to people of all ages and backgrounds within the Latino community.

Claudia Samson, co-founder of Sabana Foods states, “We are committed to the Latino community of the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area and are definitely looking forward to being a part of this wonderful initiative. Companies are only as strong as the communities that support them and in our case, people from South and Central America account for a very large percentage of our business. We feel it’s only right to give back to those that have helped our business grow so much in the last 9 months and the Casa Hispana Spring Kickoff event is the perfect opportunity to do so.”
