DonorFuse Partners with NetSquared Chicago to Host Powerful Event for the Nonprofit & Social Sector

DonorFuse and NetSquared have combined efforts to discuss the challenges and opportunities the nonprofit and social sector face in achieving measurable impact from a technology and functional needs perspective. The panelists participating will bring a dynamic viewpoint from all angles of philanthropy and fundraising.

Chicago, IL, April 12, 2014 --(PR.com)-- DonorFuse and NetSquared will host a powerhouse event to discuss making and measuring impact in the nonprofit and social sector. Measuring impact should be at the core of the work of nonprofits and social enterprises. This “wicked challenge” is a puzzle with no easy solution. Our work demands that we prove our capacity to address societal issues and develop sustainable impact models. But how do we get there?

"We are so excited to host this dynamic event and have this important conversation that is critical to the success of the nonprofit community. This interactive program will explore solutions to the wicked challenge and help us figure out ways to better measure why what we do matters," said Margaux Pagan, managing strategy director for DonorFuse and newly selected TechSoup Global’s local community organizer, supporting NetSquared Chicago.

The panelists are several of the industry’s innovators and voices:
· Illinois State Senator, Toi Hutchinson
· Marc J. Lane, Board Chairman of Social Enterprise Alliance
· Eric Weinheimer, President & CEO at The Cara Program
· K. Sujata, President of Chicago Foundation for Women

The event will be held on April 22, 2014 at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology 325 N. Wells, Room 407.
