Santosh Kulshrestha Kumar of Chicago, Illinois, has recently been selected as Woman of the Months of May 2014 and June 2014 in America’s Registry of Outstanding Professionals for her outstanding contributions and achievement in the field of community services. She has also been listed in America’s Registry’s Top 10 in Law for 2014.

Farmingdale, NY, April 22, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Santosh Kulshrestha Kumar was born in Rajasthan, India. She attained her B.S. in Biology at Jodhpur Rajasthan University in 1969. She continued her education at AMU, India earning her LL.B, with Honors in 1972 and her A.S. in Design and Desktop Publishing at Roosevelt University in 1989. Ms. Kumar is the Founding Executive Director of the Metropolitan Asian Family Services Organization in Chicago and specializes in administration and law. The organization is geared to providing comprehensive and integrated social services to those who have immigrated from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, the Middle East and Europe. Ms. Kumar is affiliated with the Illinois State Bar Association and is a Board Member/Vice President of C.L.E.S.E. In addition, she is the President of D.S.S.C. In her spare time, Ms. Kumar enjoys reading and painting.
