2,000 Registered for Long Term Care Insurance Association Virtual Conference

Some 2,000 insurance and financial professionals are registered to view the first virtual long term care insurance sales conference organized by the American Association for Long Term Care Insurance.

Los Angeles, CA, April 30, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Over 2,000 insurance agents, financial advisors and company representatives have registered to view sessions streamed live from the 2014 national long term care insurance sales conference. Free online access to view sessions is being made available from the American Association for Long Term Care Insurance.

"This will be the single largest event ever focused on long term care insurance sales," declares Jesse Slome, executive director of the American Association for Long Term Care Insurance. "In addition to the hundreds of people attending the event, there will be thousands watching sessions online."

The industry conference takes place May 18-20, 2014 in Kansas City and will feature nearly 40 keynotes and workshops focused on the sale and marketing of both traditional long term care insurance products as well as hybrid LTC solutions. "While nothing can ever replace attending an event in person, watching sessions online is the next best thing to being there," Slome explains.

The association committed to determining whether insurance agents would be interested in the virtual insurance concept. "Clearly there is interest and I am confident that as people experience a virtual conference they will accept this utilization of new technology," Slome adds. "Viewers will be able to watch speakers live, see their presentation and post comments live during the presentation," Slome adds.
