Global Market Forces is reportedly negotiating a deal which will see it take over direct telemarketing for a large IT consultancy.

The prospective client is a medium-sized information technology service and consultancy company that is keen to expand its client base via a more direct approach after experiencing three consecutive quarters of negative client growth in what is widely-regarded as a sector undergoing considerable expansion in the Asia-Pacific region.

“The prospective client cannot be named at this time because a firm decision has yet to be made on whether or not their existing in-house direct telemarketing operations will remain on in a support capacity or be de-commissioned in favor of a complete shift to an outsourced solution,” said a Global Market Forces source familiar with the negotiations on condition of anonymity.

Telemarketing outsourcing has been one of the standout growth areas in the Global Market Forces business throughout 2013 and the company says it is aggressively pursuing more contracts for 2014.

“If successful, the negotiations would see the number of outsourcing deals signed in 2014 rise to 6 and, when one considers the size of the client’s business, it would make a very healthy contribution to our revenues for the year,” said the Global Market Forces source.
