Bonita Springs, FL, May 08, 2014 --(PR.com
)-- On Friday, April 25, Trish Leonard, President and CEO of TLC Marketing & Creative Services, Gary Price, retired City Manager for the City of Bonita Springs, and Donald Thomson, managing attorney of Henderson Franklin’s Bonita Springs office, teamed up to host a benefit for the Everglades Wonder Gardens. Over 100 attendees enjoyed an evening of networking under the stars, delicious food by Russell’s Clambakes, and raised over $5,000 for the Wonder Gardens.
The facility was created in 1936 by the Piper family to rehabilitate injured animals. After the Gardens closed in mid-2013, a local photographer, John Brady, took control over the Gardens to make sure its history and heritage continued. Visitors can walk through the main building and enjoy an art gallery featuring the work of Brady. Outside, the facility is still home to many animals, botanical gardens, as well as a butterfly garden.
