The Osisis Group in partnershp with 3N1 Tree Fundraising is hosting a 2014 Operation Backpack Giveaway in the DC Metro Area. This is just one of many partnerships for 3N1 who is working to hold the largest backpack giveaway in one day on July 24th.

Washington, DC, May 10, 2014 --( The Osisis Group, a local small business consulting and services firm confirmed they have partnered with 3N1 Fundraising to host a DC Metropolitan area backpack and supplies giveaway for families in need. The giveaway will take place on July 26, 2014 in Southeast DC. "We wanted to host this event in an area where we felt it could do the most good, though it is open to all families in the metropolitan area," says Bettina Abbott-McNeill, President of The Osisis Group. She continues, "This is going to be a huge event. Many organizations are putting a lot into this. We all realize the importance of not just giving back to our community, but helping our younger generation with the tools they need to succeed."

The event is not just taking place in Washington, D.C. The Osisis Group is part of a collective of companies and organizations across the U.S. that are attempting to hold the single, largest community giveaway in the nation at one time. Currently, companies and organizations in 17 states will host a giveaway. The goal is for each event location to be able to giveaway a minimum of 2,500 backpacks that are filled with school supplies.

"Approximately sixteen million students across the U.S. go without basic school supplies every year. We have a great need to equip our communities students with the basic essentials." explains Trinity Reese, Founder of 3N1 Fundraising. The event itself is sponsored by donations made by individuals, organizations and companies. Each location must raise $10,000 to be able to provide 2,500 backpacks with essential supplies. They are also accepting donations in the form of school supplies to help lighten the cost.
