The Columbus Zoo Roars Exciting News to the CAMA

Discover the Newest Additions at the Columbus Zoo as Pete Fingerhut, Vice President of Marketing and Sales and fellow AMA member, Presents Latest Zoo News, Including the New “Heart of Africa” Exhibit

Columbus, OH, May 10, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Columbus American Marketing Association (CAMA), the premier networking and marketing organization in central Ohio for marketing and communications professionals, today announced it will bring Pete Fingerhut, Vice President of Marketing and Sales for the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, Zoombezi Bay, Safari Golf Club and the Wilds, to share his perspective on the latest happenings at our zoo, including the new “Heart of Africa” exhibit, in honor of the approaching grand opening on May 22. Fingerhut is set as the featured speaker for the group’s May luncheon on the 13th at KBD Easton.

Fingerhut holds 30 years of experience in the fields of business management, marketing, advertising and sales, making him an influential component toward the growth of the Columbus Zoo to a top zoological park in the nation. In his nine years with the Columbus Zoo, Fingerhut has achieved record breaking levels in attendance and revenue, as well as other notable contributions.

As an active community member, Fingerhut serves on the board of directors for the Dublin Convention and Visitor’s Department and was voted by the AMA as the “Marketer of the Year” in 2008. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Recreation and Park Management from the University of Missouri. Married with three children, Fingerhut also enjoys a good round of golf.
