)-- Sheila Kester of Hopkinton was the lucky winner of the "Millionaire for a Night" Charity Fundraiser. The event raised over $6,000 for ten local charities. Kester will now have the pleasure of hosting a party for 50 of her closest friends in one of Hopkinton's finest homes.
Meyer Homes, a Hopkinton, MA-based design/build firm specializing in building upscale homes and communities, sponsored the contest and offered the prize of a party at a sprawling, elegant $1.85 million Hopkinton mansion as a fundraising tool for area charities. The contest culminated at the Hopkinton Police Station and Police Chief Tom Irvin did the honors of pulling the winning ticket out of a bucket.
Kester noted that the Millionaire for the Night party will be held some time in the next few weeks.
