Diaphragm Valve: RoisDs Launches a New PVDF Diaphragm

Treviso, Italy, May 16, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Rois, a division of Uster based in Treviso and specialized in precision mechanics, continues its commitment to innovation by launching a new PVDF diaphragm for fluid dosing. PVDF ensures corrosion and abrasion resistance in dosing of chemical substances.

The choice of PVDF for fluid dosing is mainly due to the technical characteristics that exclude the release of polluting materials in the fluid. The performance of the diaphragm are better because it is resistant to chemical agents, strong acids, mineral and organic acids, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, halogenated solvents, and oxidizing environments.

The PVDF working temperature range vary from -40 °C to +150 °C. PVDF is resistant to UV rays and exceeds all other fluorinated polymers with regard to the resistance to high radiations.

Thanks to these advantages, the PVDF diaphragm for fluid dosing can be used in repeated contact with food.

Its surface is unfavorable to the proliferation of microorganisms. This solution provides better performance when the fluid to be dispensed may contain micro abrasive particles.

The PVDF material ensures a long resistance of the diaphragm and it guarantees good performance in durability and the capability to work with dense fluid pressurized in the tank.
