Travel the World without Ever Leaving Your Home by Hosting a Foreign Exchange Student for the 2014/2015 School Year

Foreign exchange students from a variety of countries are scheduled to arrive in the U.S. for the 2014/2015 school year, and they are looking forward to meeting their American host families.

Tempe, AZ, May 16, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Foreign exchange students between the ages of 15 and 18 are scheduled to arrive in the U.S. in August to begin the 2014/2015 school year, and they are excited about the opportunity to spend a semester or academic year in the United States. These students will have the wonderful opportunity to learn about America firsthand while residing with host families, participating in their daily activities and attending local high schools. Their host families will have the chance to learn about another country and culture without ever leaving their homes.

OCEAN is currently seeking volunteer host families that are willing to open their hearts and homes to a student from one of the following countries: Brazil, China, Colombia, the Czech Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, Germany, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, Slovakia, Spain and the Ukraine.

Host families come in all shapes and sizes, to include single persons and senior citizens, as well as married couples who are either with or without children of their own at home. Host families are simply required to provide the student with room and board, as well as a loving family environment. Students are fully insured, proficient in English and come with their own spending money to cover personal expenses. The rewards a family receives by hosting an exchange student last a lifetime. In addition, the family makes friends from abroad while helping to bring the world closer together.
