29th California Women's Conference Headlines Latina Leaders

Event Will Motivate and Mobilize the Hispanic Community

Long Beach, CA, May 17, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The power of unity, connecting globally and collaborating are key elements in the progression of women in the future according to Michelle Patterson, President of the California Women’s Conference and President and CEO of Women Network.

“Connecting women on a global and diverse scale will give us the cultural competency and power we need to motivate, mobilize and move our communities and businesses to be better together,” said Patterson.

With Latina influencers at the forefront of the California Women’s Conference this year on May 19 and 20 in Long Beach, California, the cultural presence will blur lines of ethnic difference and forge strong connections with conference attendees. Latina leaders set to grace the stage at the 29th California Women’s Conference are:

· Global transformational leader, celebrity coach- speaker, author and United Nations humanitarian Karen Hoyos
· Academy Award and Emmy Award- nominated AIDS advocate Rosie Perez
· Purpose and talent driven guidance coach and contributing author Rose Tafoya
· Inspirational speaker, author and spokesperson Deborah Deras

At the California Women’s Conference, women of all colors and cultures will connect with a strong circle of resources to catapult them to the highest levels in business, personal development, health and wellness and philanthropic endeavors.

The start of this global movement was kicked off at The Power of Collaboration Global Summit in New York City in February where the summit marked the beginning of the California Women's Conference global partnership with the United Nations, as the UN will host a panel at the upcoming conference.

The spirit and mission of the California Women’s Conference will be fostered on Saturday, May 17 at the League of United Latin American Citizens California State Convention where Patterson will be a key contributor on women and their role in the future of global leadership that will start at the CWC.

“International collaboration and involvement are key to moving women to the next levels in business, personal development, health and wellness, or philanthropic endeavors,” said Patterson. “Women can start at the California Women’s Conference.”

By participating in the conference, women will be empowered and realize their talent to achieve greater accomplishments. With inspiring and thought provoking speakers, networking opportunities, exciting exhibits, and engaging breakout sessions, CWC will continue its tradition as North America’s most prestigious, largest and longest-running women’s conference in North America.
