Founded in 2012 by a father and son team, Firewürst is a family-owned business that is not only committed to contributing to the local food scene, but also to being community stewards by actively playing a part in strengthening the greater Triangle. The funds raised will support Wake Education Partnership in its effort to serve as advocates for the public schools of Wake County, while working toward its goal of increasing student performance.
Wake Education Partnership is an independent nonprofit organization committed to finding the best ways to provide excellent public education for all students in every school in Wake County. The organization brings together business leaders, elected officials and educators to work toward the common goal of providing every student in Wake County with excellent educational opportunities, highly effective teachers, and strong leaders. The contributions raised by Firewürst‘s over the 10-day period, will directly support Wake Education Partnership’s goal of providing local students with the necessary skills to strengthen Wake County’s overall economic health and sustainability.
