LeFutur to Expand in Japan

Tokyo, Japan, October 17, 2007 --(PR.com)-- LeFutur - a leading European chain of gift stores said it plans to develop 20 stores in Japan that will open over the next five years.

The stores would be operated by the local master franchisee. Alex Vassiliev, Director of International Business Affairs of United Brand Company, which owns the brand, announced that the company has already started to search for potential candidates with extensive retail experience in the market.

Being originally founded in Moscow LeFutur currently operates more than 100 stores in Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Latvia, Estonia and Kazakhstan and has five offices in Russia, Hong Kong, Turkey, Ukraine and the USA.

In September 2007 LeFutur has signed master franchise agreement with one of the leading business conglomerates in the Middle East in order to open LeFutur stores in United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Palestine, Egypt and Tunisia. Moreover new openings are planned for Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Mexico and Hungary as well.
