Cambridge, MA, October 17, 2007 --(PR.com
)-- Technology firm Blue Coda
recently launched a new website for Jamaica Plain-based Bottom Line, a nonprofit dedicated to helping disadvantaged youth get into college and go far in life.
Essential to the project was the creation of a compelling graphical design with appeal for the various audiences. Blue Coda also provided significant assistance in streamlining the organization of content and in training the team on how to manage the site.
“Our organization is really good at helping disadvantaged kids get into college and stay in college, but we aren't so good at building websites,” said Greg Johnson, executive director of Bottom Line. “The creative staff at Blue Coda was able to decipher what we do and develop a great-looking site that is true to our organization and fits our needs perfectly.”
The new Bottom Line website features a wealth of information on the program as well as helpful resources for the group’s constituents:
· Local individuals, organizations and companies interested in lending a helping hand can learn how to get involved.
· Rising high school seniors can read up on the program, submit an application and familiarize themselves with the Bottom Line team and counselors.
· Alumni can learn about featured events and access information on finding jobs and internships.
· Other visitors can learn more about the organization by browsing student success stories along with facts and figures that demonstrate the group’s strong impact.
"Bottom Line provides a much-needed lifeline to local kids. It’s time the organization got a website that reflects the amazing service they provide to the community," said Blue Coda client services lead Darrin Samaha.
"We were happy to build a website that provides a greatly improved user experience and is easy for the Bottom Line team to keep up to date,” added technology lead Jason Schaffer.
