North Carolina Resume Writer

Freelance writer and professional resume writer offers affordable resumes

Raleigh, NC, October 17, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Debbie Panell, a freelance writer out of North Carolina, has recently expanded her writing empire to include reasonably priced resumes for those looking for for work, or simply looking to update their existing resume.

With reasonable rates, her business is thriving.

"I've always written resumes," she says, " I have always been the one in my group of friends to craft their resumes and cover letters, and they always had tremendous success in landing a new job. I also had the occasional client ask me to do a resume for themselves or a friend, so it seemed only natural to include it as part of my services."

So how is she handling a resume writing business along with her parenting column and other freelance work?

" It's actually pretty easy. I've been able to become more selective about my freelance clients, and take on new clients sparingly, so I have more free time now than I had previously. I really enjoy working on people's resumes and helping them position themselves better for a new position or promotion. I love getting a call or email from someone saying 'Thank You, I was just offered a job today' or 'My phone hasn't stopped ringing with interview offers'. It makes me feel like I am helping someone who really needs it."

Turnaround time for a resume written by Debbie Panell is on average between 24-48 hours, and does not include weekends.

"I've dealt with some pretty intensive resumes, and the more involved and technical they are, it takes longer, because I have to do a lot of checking to see if I am listing certifications or skills correctly. The time can also vary depending on how fast a client gets back to me when I ask a question"

Her rates vary between $60 - $100 for a professionally written resume, depending on job position and the amount of time it may take to complete.

"I could charge more," she says with a sigh, "but most people who truly need help don't have a lot of money to begin with, especially if they are out of work. I've been there. I know how it feels. A professional resume should not be limited to those who make over a certain dollar amount a year."
