2014 Nonprofit of the Year Awards Winners Announced by Tampa Bay Business Journal

The Tampa Bay Business Journal’s prestigious 2014 Nonprofit of the Year Awards honored Tampa Bay-based 501 (c)(3), non-foundation community organizations that are fiscally responsible and accountable with regard to program outcomes, and that benefit residents of Greater Tampa Bay.

Tampa, FL, June 11, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Tampa Bay Business Journal revealed the winners for the 2014 Nonprofit on Thursday, June 5th. The awards ceremony was held at A La Carte Event Pavilion. There were eight categories: Arts, Culture & Humanities; Children & Youth Services; Crisis Resources; Education; Environment & Animals; Family Services; Health & Human Services; and Public & Societal Benefit.

The final award presented was The Judge’s Choice Award that was given to an organization that the TBBJ judges felt were on the right track and worthy of special recognition. This organization will receive a spot in this year’s Orange Jam. Orange Jam is an event held each year whereby Trickey Jennus, an award-winning Tampa advertising agency, provides creative and marketing services to non-profits on a pro-bono basis.
