Cresa Gives DentaQuest Room to Grow with Doral Office Lease

Miami, FL, June 13, 2014 --(PR.com)-- As Florida’s healthcare industry continues posting growth, DentaQuest is making strides of its own in Miami. In order to keep up with the demand for its dental benefits administration, Cresa South Florida helped DentaQuest relocate and expand its office space.

Cresa advised Boston-based DentaQuest, the third-largest dental benefits administrator in the United States, on new office space for its call center in Miami. DentaQuest is doubling its office space, relocating from 2100 Ponce de Leon Blvd. in Coral Gables—where it currently leases 10,200 square feet—to 22,878 square feet in the Trenton Building in Downtown Doral. Tony Puente of Fairchild Partners represented the landlord.

“There were many factors that led to the decision for DentaQuest to relocate to the Doral submarket. Most importantly, the new location provides for much-needed growth due to the expanding business,” said John Marshall, a Managing Principal at Cresa who led the nine-month search for the healthcare administration firm’s office space. “Miami is one of DentaQuest’s strongest markets for growth due to the bilingual workforce. The space at the Trenton Building gives DentaQuest access to a strong employee base and room to grow.”

South Florida’s healthcare industry is seeing plenty of growth—and Cresa has been in the middle of it. Beyond DentaQuest, Cresa represented Miami Children’s Health System in a lease for a new corporate headquarters at 5301 Waterford. At 79,156 square feet it’s one of the largest office lease at Waterford and the largest office lease of 2014 in Miami to date. Cresa also advised Stemtech International, a stem cell nutrition company, as the firm moved its corporate headquarters from California to Pembroke Pines, FL. Stemtech signed a 34,279 square feet at 2010 NW 150th Ave.

DentaQuest will move into The Trenton Building in the fourth quarter of 2014. Located 8300 NW 53rd St. in Doral, The Trenton Building is adjacent to the Doral Golf Resort and Spa and offers a parking ratio of 4 to 1,000 square feet. The building, which was designed to achieve LEED Gold certification, offers elegant finishes, high-impact glass windows, flexible and efficient floor plates, and is beautifully landscaped.

Codina Partners is developing the $1 billion Downtown Doral, a 120-acre mixed-use development that promises to transform the industrial-focused city into the live-work-play environment Marshall mentioned. Meanwhile, The Related Group and Shoma Group are tag teaming on Park Square, a mixed-used development project in Doral on a 48-acre site that will drive the city toward a fully-populated urban center.

“The future of Downtown Doral—the live, work, play concept—excited DentaQuest,” Marshall said. “Downtown Doral is becoming a lively place.”
