Wake Education Partnership Names Ken Jones Marketing Communications Specialist

Local Nonprofit Announces New Employee to Oversee Communications Strategies

Raleigh, NC, June 14, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Wake Education Partnership has announced that Ken Jones has joined the nonprofit as marketing communications specialist. Jones will oversee all communications and messaging to promote and articulate the mission of the organization, and collaborate with other Wake Education Partnership team members on strategic initiatives.

Prior to joining the partnership, Jones served as an account executive at Capstrat. He has six years of journalism experience working as a television and newspaper reporter in Memphis, Tenn., Topeka, Kan. and Raleigh, N.C. Jones earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Memphis. Jones dedicates his personal time to several nonprofits including, Habitat for Humanity, The Ronald McDonald House and The Green Chair Project. He is also an active member of Hope Community Church.
