Los Angeles, CA, February 11, 2004 --(PR.com
)-- Mail2World, Inc., a global web-based messaging service provider announced today the 2.0 release of the Pangia Communications Platform, an advanced back-end email database and message management technology that currently powers 5 Million email boxes around the world.
Messaging service providers have long understood that email must not only overcome the problems of Spam and viruses, but must also enable business customers to better control their email in an era of productivity loss and stiffer legal compliance. Unlike the new Pangia Communications Platform and Microsoft® Exchange Server, most other platforms are file driven and do not perform as well as platforms driven by a database. Its design is highly scalable and based on open standards, the Pangia Communications Platform 2.0 is the first of a series of technology releases planned by Mail2World in 2004.
"Business email and messaging customers demand efficiency, flexibility, and low cost," said David J. Rodecker, Vice-President of Technology. "This requires a robust technology that can process high traffic with no latency from a single bank of servers, accessible to clients anywhere in the world. This is what is offered by our new email platform. The largest component of improved email isn't directly visible to the customer," Rodecker continued, "because it is due to improved database design. But out customers are quick to note how fast and efficient their business email service has become. More important, their CFOs continue to like the bottom line."
Mail2World captured international attention in late 2000 by being the first web-based messaging provider to offer instant, integrated email translation in eight languages. This enabled the small but nimble technology company to attract and serve clients from 39 countries around the globe. The Pangia Communications Platform release 2.0 has been redefined to make it safer, more productive, and more regulatory compliant for the business user.
