YMCA Demonstrates Commitment to Transparency and Receives GuideStar Exchange Gold Participation Level

The YMCA of Austin receives GuideStar Exchange Gold Participation level, exhibiting their commitment to transparency. The YMCA of Austin is among the top 10,000 viewed organizations on GuideStar.com. Only 3,463 nonprofits hold this distinction.

Austin, TX, June 26, 2014 --(PR.com)-- YMCA of Austin received the GuideStar Exchange Gold participation level, a leading symbol of transparency and accountability provided by GuideStar USA, Inc., the premier source of nonprofit information. This level demonstrates the YMCA of Austin’s deep commitment to nonprofit transparency and accountability.

In order to be awarded the GuideStar Exchange Gold level, the YMCA of Austin had to complete all required fields of the nonprofit report page on www.guidestar.org, including the Charting Impact questions which show the long-term vision for the organization.

The YMCA of Austin is among the elite top 10,000 viewed organizations on GuideStar.org out of the 1.8 million IRS-recognized nonprofits. The Gold level puts the Y in company with only 3,463 other nonprofits that hold this distinction, showing the organization’s strongest commitment to transparency.
