New Media Outlet Launches in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

English speaking residence and tourists now have a new way to read their daily news in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, June 27, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Vallarta Daily News (vallartadaily.com), in conjunction with XPER Branding (xperbranding.com), launched an online newspaper to service the growing number of American and Canadian retirees, and tourists, heading to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

VallartaDaily.Com focuses on local, national, and international news that impacts the foreign residence of Puerto Vallarta. Topics include local news, national news, business and economy, women, LGBT, foodies, Puerto Vallarta real estate, weather, and more.

Vallarta Daily services its readers with the area’s only mobile-friendly news site for the English-speaking community, making it possible for locals to get their news on the go, even if “on the go” means basking in the sun with a cold margarita.

“Our goal is to add another option to the way people receive their news in Puerto Vallarta,” says co-founder Sergio Salazar. “Our online news source embraces the latest technology and social media in a way that no other local news agency has done, that allows us to reach an estimated 30,000 people every day,” he added.

Vallarta Daily officially launched on April 5, 2014 with rave reviews for it’s easy to use website, mobile accessibility, and social interaction capabilities. Vallarta Daily is open media that encourages the residence to get involved by creating discussions on daily news topics, submitting their own local news as contributors, or adding local events, all for free.

“We would be lying if we said that our publication did not serve the purpose to draw more tourists and retirees to Puerto Vallarta,” explains Salazar, “However, first and foremost, we deliver real news of importance to our residence 24-hours a day,” he added.

Vallarta Daily reports 300,000 news reads in its first month of publication, they credit social media and advertising for their hefty numbers. By looking at their social media, particularly Facebook, it’s obvious that their followers engage with the brand frequently with comments, likes, and share, above those of any other news agency in the area.

The near future goal for Vallarta Daily is adding a Spanish version of their website so that the Spanish-speaking community can have another option in the way they receive news and open their online publication to thousands of additional readers. Latin American’s statistically are more active with social media, which fits the strategy of Vallarta Daily.

Puerto Vallarta is a Mexican beach resort city situated on the Pacific Ocean's Bahía de Banderas. Puerto Vallarta tops most lists from top travel destination to best places to retire.
