On an average drive through town, one is still not likely to see a Tesla car on the road. In an effort to change that, the managers of Tesla say they realize that the entry price has been pretty steep and they are working on producing a version, the Model E, which will sport a price tag just over $30,000. Another model on the drawing board is an SUV version, which will probably be released next, prior to the Model E. Only when the price gets more reasonable, will Tesla vehicles be jockeying for position on our roadways.
