Hilliker Corporation Sells St. Louis Landmark

Local commercial real estate company buys building for future development.

St. Louis, MO, July 08, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Hilliker Corporation was hired to sell Johnny's Market, a family owned and operated grocery store that closed its doors in 2012 after 68 years in business. Its new owner has future redevelopment plans slated for the 2.5 acre property that features the more than 20,000-square-foot store.

Hilliker Corporation agent Will Aschinger represented the seller, Jon-Del Investments, LLC. K2 Commercial Group represented itself as the buyer for the property located at 11555 Gravois Rd. K2 Commercial Group is a real estate and retail developer located in St. Louis. Future plans are still being reviewed and determined.

Johnny's Market was a South St. Louis institution that featured a variety of local produce and foods. Owner Debbie Loeffelman, the daughter of founders John and Adel Loeffelman, ran the business for its last 35 years.
