Exceptional Children's Foundation Receives Grant from the Eisner Foundation

Culver City, CA, July 09, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Exceptional Children’s Foundation (ECF) is pleased to announce the award of a grant from The Eisner Foundation. This grant will provide support for educational and therapeutic services to 190 K-12 students with special needs at ECF’s Kayne Eras School.

The Eisner Foundation was started in 1996 by Michael D. Eisner, then-Chairman and CEO of The Walt Disney Company, and his wife Jane as a way to focus their family’s philanthropic activities. The Foundation awards grants to deserving nonprofits to provide access and opportunity for disadvantaged children and the aging of Los Angeles County.

“ECF is grateful for the support from The Eisner Foundation. This generous grant will allow us to make a positive impact on the children we serve and expand the opportunities of our high school graduates,” said Scott Bowling, President and CEO of ECF.

In the words of Jane Eisner, “We want our efforts to help children not just temporarily, but enduringly, by giving them the tools to dream and their families the resources to realize those dreams."
