Local Artist and Food Incubator Join Forces to Feed the Less Fortunate

Global Business Development Center is proud to be a sponsor of An Appetite for Art, a Summer Artist/Foodie Series An on-going food and art series where “Hungry Artist Help Hungry People.” Each month a theme is selected and a local artist is invited to hold a gallery exhibit and paired with Music, Events, and the Art of Making Food as demonstrated by the incubator talent at the Secret Garden Café.

An on-going food and art series where “Hungry Artist Help Hungry People.” Each month a theme is selected and a local artist is invited to hold a gallery exhibit and paired with Music, Events, and the Art of Making Food as demonstrated by the incubator talent at the Secret Garden Café. Proceeds benefit the CCC’s Senior Hunger Programs: Home Delivered Meals, Senior Veggie Mobile, Nutrition Education and Chronic Disease Wellness Classes, & Social Activities addressing isolationism. Our first series for the Summer includes the following:

July’s theme is “Americana” featuring Artist Rolando Chang Barrero

Incubator clients from the Secret Garden Café, A Culinary Incubator Program help to unfold a weekend gastronomic event beginning with Happy Hour Tapas each day from 4 PM to 7 PM, Thursday’s canapés at the VIP Reception, Friday Night’s Dinner, and Saturday’s Vendor Market full of Cooking Demonstrations and KIDZ Cooking Classes planned around the monthly themes hoping to delight Foodies/Artists of all ages.

July 25, Friday - Dinner and/or Show 6 PM to 9 PM
July 26, Saturday - Artisan Vendor Market 10 AM to 4 PM

Friday’s Dinner features Sous Chef, Lynn from the award winning restaurant Ocean’s 50 and Chef Phillip offering full course dinners featuring Florida’s grass fed Prime Rib, and of course the All American Apple Pie ala mode for dessert.

Proceeds to benefit CCC’s Senior Hunger Programs – Home Delivered Meals, Veggie Mobile Program, Nutrition Education and Chronic Disease Wellness Classes. CCC is a 28 year old not-for-profit organization providing social services and economic development opportunities in the Greater Boynton Beach area.
