Orlando, FL, July 20, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Society for Diversity is hosting its annual Diversity Leadership Retreat in Orlando at the Caribe Royale on July 24-25. This event will provide information and insights into the field of diversity and inclusion. There are 23 breakout sessions scheduled, which includes a certification course for diversity professionals and executives.
Currently there are several professionals and executives registered from some of the top organizations and universities in the country, such as the U.S. Postal Service, Federal Reserve Bank, Northwestern University, Regions Bank, Auburn University and University of Florida. These registrants are some of the top in the field of diversity and inclusion.
During the breakout sessions and keynote presentation, attendees will hear from some of the top experts in the nation, such as Dr. Shirley Davis Sheppard, the former Chief Diversity Officer at SHRM. She will be presenting the “10 Global Trends that are Keeping CEOs up at Night.” Dr. Freeman Hrabowski, President at University of Maryland-Baltimore, will also be a keynote speaker discussing “The Business Case for Diversity & Inclusion.”
In addition to these two keynote speakers, there are other speakers from top organizations in the country, including Missouri State University, Michigan State University, Johnson Controls, Princeton University, and many more. These top experts will be speaking on topics such as supplier diversity, gender diversity, unconscious bias, employee relations, diversity and inclusion metrics and much more.
