SACAC Open for Admissions in Digital Marketing Communication (DMC)

New Delhi, India, August 01, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts & Communication, New Delhi invites applications for admission in post graduate diploma course in Digital Marketing Communication. The classes are scheduled to commence in August this year.

The admissions will be made on the basis of an aptitude test followed by an interview. Graduates from any discipline (Science, Commerce and Arts) or people who are currently working but want to switch to a career in the digital domain may apply. In this new era of digital media and online communication, marketing managers, advertising executives and media professionals must have multifaceted talents in order to combine creative flair with technological skills and strategic business thinking. The PG Diploma course in Digital Marketing Communication prepares the future generation of media professionals who will exploit the fast changing world of online and digital media. The curriculum of this course has been designed with extensive contribution from online media publishers, and digital marketing and advertising experts.

The course covers varied subject topics like: Online Strategy and Management, Search Engine Optimization, Creative Writing, Blogging, Social media campaigns to name a few. The Digital Marketing Communication course will also stress on the practical application of knowledge. From learning how to use the social media platforms like Twitter, Linkedin, Google+, Pinterest, Facebook etc., to optimizing audience interaction, creating points of interaction and designing viral marketing programs. In the last term of the program, students will undergo an intensive field placement (internship) in a digital media company. In their internship period, they will be required to use their acquired skills on job and will continue to pursue their coursework in parallel.

Started in 2003, the Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts and Communication (SACAC) is an autonomous, not-for-profit institution for creative learning in arts and communication, offering one year diploma programmes in Photography, Audio Engineering and Music Production and Creative Documentary, in addition to courses in Advertising and Public Relations (IMC) and Digital Marketing Communication.
