Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts & Communication, New Delhi invites applications for admission in post graduate diploma course in Advertising & Public Relations. The classes are scheduled to commence in August this year.

New Delhi, India, August 07, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts & Communication, New Delhi invites applications for admission in post graduate diploma course in Advertising & Public Relations. The classes are scheduled to commence in August this year.

The admissions will be made on the basis of an aptitude test followed by group discussion and interview. The post graduate diploma course on offer has a precise number of 35 seats. A graduate in any field with a minimum of 50% marks (aggregate) may apply. The course has been designed in consultation with industry practitioners from the field of Communication. The one year post graduate diploma in Advertising and Public Relations (IMC) covers Marketing Environment, Consumer Behaviour, Public Relations, Communication Management, Business Communication & Creative Writing, Digital Marketing and Brand Management to name a few. The mode of instruction in this course is simulation exercises, case study analysis, classroom teaching, guest lectures and off-site and on-site workshops through which students develop a professional toolkit to attain marketing success.

Successful completion of the advertising course opens up a wide range of opportunities in this industry. After a strong foundation in marketing and communications, students may choose their internships in Account Management, Copywriting or Public Relations. Their recent 2013-14 batch of 23 students was offered 34 internships at some of the best advertising agencies and PR firms: JWT, Cheil Worldwide, TBWA, DDB Mudra to name a few.

Started in 2003, the Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts and Communication (SACAC), a unit of Sri Aurobindo Society, Puducherry is an autonomous, not-for-profit institution for creative learning in arts and communication. SACAC offer one year diploma programmes in Photography, Audio Engineering and Music Production and Creative Documentary, in addition to courses in Advertising and Public Relations (IMC) and Digital Marketing Communication.
