Cajohns Fiery Foods is on "Fire" at the Louisiana Hot Sauce Festival

CaJohns Fiery Foods brings home top hot sauce honors at the first annual International Hot Sauce Festival in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Westerville, OH, August 08, 2014 --( CaJohns Fiery Foods traveled to picturesque Acadian Village in Louisiana to participate in the inaugural Louisiana Hot Sauce Festival. According to festival director, Dana Romero, 100 vendors including 30 hot sauce makers descended upon the Cajun village. As with most big festivals there were trophies, ribbons and bragging rights up for grabs. With over 500 entrants, judges tasted everything from a mild fruit salsa to ultrahot table sauces and everything in between. The panel of judges included restaurant owners, chefs, beauty queens, hot sauce enthusiasts and industry experts.

CaJohns Fiery Foods’ Cara Cara Hot Sauce was named World Champion Hot Sauce, taking home division honors. CaJohns Fiery Foods was also honored to earn first place awards for these incredible products:
