Columbus, OH, October 27, 2007 --(PR.com
)-- Diversity Search Group announced the launch of a new website www.DiversitySearchGroup.com, which is the result of requests by customers. VP of Strategic Relations and Global Search Operations, Teresa Sherald says: "At Diversity Search Group we have always taken customer care very seriously, talking and listening to our customers and taking their views on board. Over the last four months we have conducted a series of informal research activities and the results have influenced the new website design and content."
We identified three main types of individuals who seek information from recruiting sites: job seekers, employers and marketing representatives. Taking this new portal approach intended with each specific audience in mind, the new website's homepage provides three routes of entry depending on a particular role. Each of the three sections acts as a website within itself and provides additional information for that individual.
The site provides numerous tools for these individuals and includes over 28 peer reviewed professional articles and research abstracts for job seekers that acts as a professional development resource tool. Additionally, a cost of living calculator is provided to job seekers that enable them to calculate the potential salary in a specific geographic region. For the Human Resources professional, there is information on building an internship program, accessing Training, and a salary calculator to calculate the potential cost of a position. As an added feature to marketing representatives, businesses can now post an unlimited number of job openings on the Diversity Search Group website. This allows additional exposure to their companies as Diversity Search Group and its partner sites receive 8,328,000 hits per month. The President and CEO of Diversity Search Group, Bruce Sherald, indicates that, “These are exciting times for those businesses attempting to fill vacant positions, but it also presents some daunting challenges for businesses striving to keep pace with the light-speed movement of today’s high paced industries. The challenges and expense of hiring diversely skilled staff in-house has many businesses exploring other options to meet their growing needs.” In response to these gaps, Diversity Search Group now provides temporary Contract employees to fill those short-term needs. Sherald, reported: "Outsourcing has become a practical necessity for many new and existing businesses attempting to operate effectively." He added, "In order for many companies to remain cost-effective, current and competitive in their business endeavors, they must consider outsourcing as a vital tool for meeting their evolving needs."
"Our customers want to be able to access recruiting tools and find out who we are and how we work," says Bruce Sherald. "We are a successful, growing and strongly reliable company. This year we received further Industry recognition that supports our maxim of integrity and valued service by obtaining the Minority Business Enterprise certification – recognized nationally by the NMSDC (National Minority Supplier Development Council), and memberships through the Columbus Chamber of Commerce and the Ohio Better Business Bureau.
We are continually innovating and improving our products and services. The company has experienced phenomenal growth since its management reorganization in March of 2007 and the new website is the natural next step."
