ASDQMS Reduces Prices on the Digimatic Output FlashCable©

Chagrin Falls, OH, August 29, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Advanced Systems & Designs just reduced the price on their Digimatic output FlashCable® by 20%. The FlashCable® is a single gage cable that connects any brand of gage or RS232 serial device to a GageMux® multiple input interface, or other devices that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic format. The Advanced Systems & Designs FlashCable® is engineered with a programmable memory chip to convert the data format from the customer's gage or RS232 serial device to a Digimatic output so it can communicate with any SPC software package.

The customer is just required to connect the FlashCable® to the gage and the GageMux® input. If the customer uses a third party connection that recognizes the Digimatic format, the ASDQMS FlashCable® will connect with that device as well. The FlashCable® receives power from the input port on the Digimatic device, and never draws any battery power from the gage. The programmable memory on the FlashCable® also allows the customer to store critical gage information such as serial numbers and next calibration date.

The FlashCable® works with all popular gages, such as Mahr Federal Maxum Plus, Maxum III, uMaxum, CDI Logic Series, Starrett Wisdom, Chatillon DFIS, Fowler Ultra Cal, Ono Sokki EG-225, as well as hundreds of other gages. Even with a RS232 device, such as a digital display, balance scale, or bar code scanner, Advanced Systems and Designs can design a FlashCable® so the customer can automatically record data and eliminate manual data entry errors.
