The arkOS Genesis ARM Server is Now Available on miniNodes.com

Phoenix, AZ, September 03, 2014 --(PR.com)-- miniNodes.com is proud to announce that it is the first hosting solutions provider to offer a dedicated server based on the new arkOS platform, developed by The CitizenWeb Project. arkOS is a software stack built upon the Arch Linux operating system, but with a custom built web-based control panel called Genesis to help manage the server. Genesis makes it easy to install applications like WordPress, add programming languages like Ruby and Node.js, and host your own website, files, calendar, chat, email, and more. arkOS was designed to focus on privacy, efficiency, and ease-of-use, and is committed to remaining open-source allowing anyone to contribute to the project.

arkOS and Genesis are a natural fit for miniNodes.com, which focuses on low power, high efficiency ARM servers. ARM processors are what power most tablets and cellphones, and have now made the leap to servers and datacenters as well, due to their low cost and minimal power consumption. Additionally, as phone and tablet apps are written to run on ARM devices, deploying ARM processors in the datacenter make it easier to maintain a cloud platform.

With this latest product release, miniNodes has furthered it’s lead in the hosted ARM Server industry. The arkOS Genesis ARM Server is alone in the marketplace, and once again demonstrates miniNodes.com’s commitment and leadership to the microserver, ARM Server, and low-power cloud computing ecosystem.
