TraceRegister Releases New Features in Seafood Traceability 1.2

Seattle, WA, October 28, 2007 --(PR.com)-- TraceRegister, Inc., a leading provider in seafood supply chain traceability, today announced the launch of release of version 1.2 of their seafood traceability software and that current users of the platform have been automatically upgraded to the new version. The traceability software is an internet based application that allows seafood businesses to comply with regulatory as well as best practice standards for supply chain traceability. TraceRegister, Inc. adopts the motto “promoting trust in the supply chain” and uses their platform to securely store and exchange product traceability information for each company that takes possession of a seafood product in the supply chain.

The latest version features enhanced usability features including:
· the TraceData XML upload tool allows users to automatically register product traceability data from their own internal traceability programs rather than to have to key them in manually;
· the Logistics Template which reduces the amount of manual input required for the users; and,
· Enhanced language capabilities that allows users to use the application in any of the available languages which include Chinese (Mandarin), English, Japanese, Thai, and Spanish.

Version 1.2 allows users to conform to the requirements of the Aquaculture Certification Council (ACC) certification standards as well as provide meaningful food and product information requested by customers and consumers.
