Local Jupiter Real Estate Agents Using Drone Photography for Listings

Real estate agents in Palm Beach County Florida are using drone or quad-copter photography to capture listing photos from high altitudes.

Jupiter, FL, September 10, 2014 --(PR.com)-- It’s a crisp, blue-sky morning in Southeast Florida and there’s no better way to show it off than from 100 feet in the air. Quadcopters are making an impact in showcasing and selling local real estate listings especially for the agents utilizing this new technology.

Todd Blair is a licensed real estate professional in Palm Beach County Florida and can attest to the impact these images provide. “It really gives the buyer an opportunity from the air to see what’s around, and that makes a giant difference,” says Blair.

Real estate agents are beginning to use these “drones” not just for dynamic photography but for the incentive it provides to home sellers. “If you can prove to sellers that these images are really a great selling point, they most likely will choose you over an agent that’s not using the latest photography technology,” says Blair. “It’s just not enough anymore, you have to give the buyer more than a few interior shots. They want to see the whole picture.”

And the whole picture is what is shown. Potential buyers now have the option of viewing the entire neighborhood, cross streets and local parks to gain a sense of location unlike interior and photos shot solely from the ground level.

Currently, there are no laws preventing this type of photography from the FAA but new legislation is in the works for 2015. So far, the Palm Beach International Airport has experienced no issues with drone interfering with local flights. For now, movie makers and real estate agents are reaping the benefits of high-in-the-sky technology.

While this type of photography is perfect for Florida, other parts of the country remain apprehensive. “No one wants to see a desert from high overhead. It’s our lush, tropical landscape that makes this photography so perfect for our area,” says Blair.

So the next time you hear a buzzing sound overhead there’s no need to be alarmed; it’s probably just a new listing that’s hit the market in Palm Beach County Florida.
