John S. Leinicke of Roig Lawyers Elected President of the Dade County Defense Bar Association

Miami, FL, September 12, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Roig Lawyers, a minority-owned multi-practice litigation law firm dedicated to serving clients across seven offices throughout Florida, is pleased to announce that John S. Leinicke, associate in the Miami office, has been elected President of the Dade County Defense Bar Association (DCDBA).

The DCDBA is South Florida’s oldest voluntary bar organization dedicated solely to the civil defense litigator. In 1964, the DCDBA was formed to further the education, ethics, and professionalism of the local legal community. The DCDBA is a not-for-profit organization which provides each of its members the opportunity to network, socialize, and learn from the most outstanding members of the legal profession.

Prior to being elected as President of the DCDBA, John was the organization’s vice-president from 2013-2014.

John’s practice focuses on first party insurance defense, fraud investigation, and statutory compliance issues involving medical licensure. He has handled state-wide cases in construction, professional malpractice, and personal injury matters.

John is the chair of the DRI Young Lawyers State and Local Defense Organization (SLDO) Steering Committee.

John is a graduate of Boston University (B.A., 2004) and the University of Miami School of Law (J.D., 2008).
