American Venous Forum - SERVIER Traveling Fellowship Deadline Extended to September 12, 2014 - Fellows Encouraged to Apply

The American Venous Forum (AVF) will hold its 27th Annual Meeting on February 25-27, 2015 in Palm Springs, CA. The AVF Annual Meeting offers high-quality scientific analysis to physicians interested in research, education and clinical investigation in the field of venous diseases. The Servier Traveling Fellowship is open to fellows and residents in a vascular training program in the continental United States. Fellows/Residents must submit an abstract in order to apply for the fellowship.

The AVF Annual Meeting offers high-quality scientific analysis to those physicians interested in research, education and clinical investigation in the field of venous diseases. AVF encourages all of its colleagues to participate in this growing educational program by submission of a formal abstract for standard oral, quick shot presentation, poster presentation or poster display. The Servier Traveling Fellowship is open to fellows and residents in a vascular training program in the continental United States. Abstracts submitted must represent original, basic or clinical research in venous or lymphatic disease. The Servier Traveling Fellowship will provide two fellows/residents an opportunity to travel to the AVF 27th Annual Meeting then to the European Venous Forum in June (2015) to present research. The fellowship recipients are selected through a competitive peer review process.

Eligibility for the SERVIER Traveling Fellowship:
- Applicant must be a Resident or Fellow in a vascular training program in the United States.
- Applicant must provide name and phone number of Program Director.
- Applicant must submit an abstract by Friday, September 12, 2014, 11:59 pm EST and indicate interest in being considered for this award during the abstract submission process.
