NAWBO's Oct. 8 Meeting to Focus on Personal Image

During the Oct. 8 luncheon presentation, three NAWBO members will be transformed through a custom image consultation with Debra Davenport, president of Davenport Public Relations.

Phoenix, AZ, September 13, 2014 --(PR.com)-- In business, image is everything. Attendees at the Oct. 8 meeting of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Phoenix Chapter will learn how to make their personal image match their business value. The event takes places at the Phoenix Country Club (2901 N. 7th St., Phoenix, 85012) beginning with a NAWBO University Workshop at 9:30 a.m., networking at 10:45 and luncheon/presentation at 11:20.

During the luncheon presentation, three NAWBO members will be transformed through a custom image consultation with Debra Davenport, president of Davenport Public Relations.

Davenport has worked extensively on both sides of the PR business – as chief PR counsel, and also as a journalist, reporter, TV and radio host, celebrity stylist, media resource and national corporate spokesperson. She is well-versed in every aspect of public relations, perceptual management and branding. Davenport develops and teaches public relations courses at several US universities, has been featured as a recurring guest expert on the Dr. Phil show, and is featured in many publications including Entertainment Weekly, Elle, and In Style.

Costs for the Oct. 8 lunch and program are $38 for NAWBO members and $48 for guests. NAWBO University is free for members and $30 for guests. Reservations must be online by Oct. 3 at www.nawbophx.org.
