Warp & Weft Hosts the Launch of Elizabeth Olwen's New Fabric Collection, Wildwood

Toronto, Canada, September 25, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Warp & Weft will host the launch of the new fabric collection 'Wildwood', by surface designer Elizabeth Olwen from Friday 26th – Sunday 28th of September 2014. The weekend features a host of events that will take place at 344 Westmoreland Ave., North Toronto, M6H 3A7.

Elizabeth Olwen is a Toronto-based surface designer. Inspired by pastoral beauty, nature in its most playful forms, folklore, and romance, Elizabeth’s work is driven by the desire to leave something beautiful behind with every step she takes.

Commenting about the event, Esmari Taylor, founder of Warp & Weft said: "We are delighted to be hosting this event to celebrate the beautiful and thought-provoking work of Elizabeth Olwen." She continued: "Elizabeth is a very talented surface designer, and her unique use of color enables her to create designs that have a unique story to tell."

The celebratory weekend features a 'Maker's Talk' cocktail evening on Friday September 26th at 7pm. Attendees will be taken on a journey through the designer's creative process: From the forest floor to Wildwood.

On Saturday 27th September, a creative sewing 'Afternoon Tea Workshop' will take place at 1pm. Some sewing experience is required for this workshop.
