Bald Ridge Lodge receiving fresh coat of ceiling paint to benefit boys in need.

Cumming, GA, September 26, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Two Five Star Painting franchises are joining forces to deliver a new coat of ceiling paint to Bald Ridge Lodge, a non-profit stabilization and assessment center for at-risk boys.

As part of Five Star Cares National Day of Paint, the Alpharetta and Cumming, Ga. franchises will donate paint and provide volunteer hours from employees and customers on Sept. 27 to benefit the center. Headed by local franchise owners Scott Specker and Rock Kenney, Five Star Painting’s project is to paint various ceilings including the enrichment room and activities room to help update the facility, which is in great need of paint.

“This paint project will provide a huge impact for the Bald Ridge Lodge,” the facility’s Executive Director Heidi Snarey said. “We want the lodge to feel as home-like as it can, while maintaining a safe, clean environment where the young men can concentrate on getting their lives back in order.”

The Bald Ridge Lodge, which houses up to 12 boys at a time ranging from ages 12-17, provides counseling, mentoring and community support, while engaging the young men in positive activities. The goal of the organization is to reunify families, while making residents and families stronger.

“We’re grateful for this opportunity to paint at the Bald Ridge Lodge and hope to make a positive difference in the living environment the boys at this lodge experience,” Specker said. “Our community and customers have been a great support to our businesses, and we hope to give back and strengthen our community through this project.”

Five Star Cares is a community outreach program designed to give back to local communities within the Five Star Painting franchise system. As a nationally recognized professional painting company, Five Star Painting strives to transform lives and spaces through the use of color.

“We appreciate the community support,” Snarey said. “Our agency wouldn’t work if we didn’t have community partners and support. The volunteer hours and paint donated through Five Star Painting helps us in utilizing future resources to provide programming for our boys, in addition to fulfilling their needs.”

As a national painting company located in various cities across the United States and Canada, Five Star Painting’s mission is to capture customers’ dreams and enhance their lifestyle by adding color to their world.
