Women Talk Business in North Shropshire

Oswestry, United Kingdom, October 03, 2014 --(PR.com)-- A new Women in Rural Enterprise (WiRE) business meeting has just been launched in Oswestry, North Shropshire by Barbara Steadman, owner of online store Another Gorgeous Day which sells personalised wall plaques.

WiRE is the dynamic UK networking and business club for rural women in business. WiRE helps support all rural businesses with a package of practical support, including networking and training. Barbara has been a member of WiRE for over five years and found it disheartening that the group was no longer running in North Shropshire. Barbara commented "WiRE is a very supportive and informative organisation. I have gained so much from being a member. I would recommend anyone running a business in Shropshire to take a look at what they do."

The group now meets once a month at the new Baby Bird Cafe in Oswestry. The first meeting took place on the 26th September and was a huge success. The focus of the meeting was self accountability and Eva Hill of Oswestry based Work Life Better helped everyone with some great advice. Lesley Passey of The Village Florist in Whittington, who attended the meeting said "it was a very informative and supportive meeting. It was great to talk business with like minded women. I gained lots of helpful advice and some really useful contacts."
