Background
The BRC reviews and revises the Global Standard for Food Safety about once in every 3 years. Issue 7 of the standard has been in the re-write process for the last 6 months and is now ready for publication in January 2015. Audits against the standard will start in July 2015. All users of the standard will be audited to Issue 7 from the 1st July 2015. Understanding the changes is key to successful implementation of new and revised requirements.
