Stevie Award Winners to be Announced in New York on November 14.

Burlington, Canada, October 12, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Pink Elephant’s CEO, Fatima Cabral has been named a finalist in three awards categories for this year’s Stevie Awards for Women in Business. As a finalist in the Female Entrepreneur of the Year – Business Services – 11 to 2,500 Employees category, the Female Entrepreneur of the Year in Canada category and Woman of the Year - Business Services category, Fatima will ultimately be a Gold, Silver or Bronze Stevie Award winner in the program. The award winners will be announced at the Marriot Marquis Hotel in New York November 14, 2014.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, employees and the companies they run – worldwide. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards.

Finalists were chosen by more than 100 business professionals worldwide during preliminary judging. Members of five final judging committees will determine the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award placements from among the Finalists during final judging October 20-29.

“To be named a finalist in three separate categories is a great privilege,” said Fatima. “I’m extremely honored and grateful to work alongside a great team of 'Pinkers' who have helped Pink Elephant make a significant impact on the IT Service Management world.”

The judges selected Fatima’s entry in recognition of her role as a pioneer in the IT support and management landscape in Canada and across North America, her part in the ITIL® “revolution” and leading Pink Elephant to becoming the world leader in IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices.

“Every year we receive the most amazing and inspiring stories of achievement from women-owned and run organizations around the world,” said Michael Gallagher, founder and president of the Stevie Awards. “The first-round judges have told us how delighted they are with this year’s field of Finalists.”

Fatima has also been ranked amongst PROFIT Magazine’s Top 100 Woman Entrepreneurs for eight successive years, and is a recipient of an award from the Federation of Portuguese-Canadian Business Professionals.
