)-- Thieme, a world leader in scientific, medical, and academic publishing, won First Prize in the Oncology category and Highly Commended in the Radiology and Surgical Specialties categories at the 2014 British Medical Association’s Medical Book Awards ceremony recently held in London. Through this competition the BMA aims to foster and reward excellence in medical publishing.
First prize in the Oncology category went to "Controversies in Neuro-Oncology," by Alfredo Quiñones-Hinojosa and Shaan M. Raza. This comprehensive guide compiles, synthesizes, and summarizes the most relevant scientific literature available in neurosurgical oncology.
