National Teen Driver Safety Week

Watertown, CT, October 17, 2014 --(PR.com)-- October 19th marks the start of National Teen Driver Safety Week. First established by Congress in 2007, National Teen Driver Safety Week has since gained wide recognition for raising awareness amongst teens and parents on how to become a safer driver. All-Star Driver, the leading driving school in the state, is committed to providing the information and education necessary to make every week a safe driving week. As the expert in teen driving safety, they are providing these 10 tips for teens and new drivers to use when behind the wheel. As said by All-Star Driver’s General Manager, Brandon Dufour, “safe driving doesn't come with age, it comes with experience."

Always obey the speed limit.
Never drink and drive.
Do not text or use your cell phone while driving.
Be aware of the cars around you.
Watch out for wildlife crossing the roads.
Always stop for school buses with flashing lights.
Always yield to pedestrians.
Come to a complete stop at all stop signs.
Be extra careful when driving in a school zone.
Always buckle up!
